Warning Order – Airborne Forces Weekend 22/23 May 2026 SAVE THE DATE!

As the Canadian Airborne Forces Association continues to move forward, we are excited to announce that we have transformed our traditional Annual General Meeting (AGM) into a full Airborne Forces Weekend. The short AGM is now just one part of a larger event designed to promote airborne camaraderie, fellowship, and shared history.

Event Details

Dates: Friday, 22 May – Saturday, 23 May 2026

Location: Canadian Army Advanced Warfare Centre (CAAWC), 8 Wing Trenton, Ontario

The main CAFA and para-related activities will run from approximately noon on Friday, 22 May until noon on Saturday, 23 May.

What to Expect

• A short AGM

• Engaging presentations on the Past, Present, and Potential Future of Canada’s Airborne

• Artist and vendor kiosks featuring Airborne-related items (perfect for viewing and purchasing)

• Opportunity to visit the CAAWC Kitshop

• A guided tour of the CAAWC facility for those not familiar with it

• Buffet-style dinner and meet-and-greet on Friday evening

• A short Memorial Service on Saturday morning

Optional activities (depending on demand) will also be available before and after the main weekend, including:

• Golf tee times

• Wine tours

• Museum visits

Accommodations

Military-rate accommodations will be available on base at the CAAWC while availability lasts.

This weekend offers a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with fellow paratroopers, honour our history, and look ahead to the future of Canada’s Airborne community.
