On Friday, 7 August, members of the Canadian Airborne Forces Association (CAFA) had the pleasure of joining the 2026 CAFA Scholarship recipient, Carter Scheffold-Higdon, and his family at the Fort Frontenac Officers’ Mess for the presentation of the CAFA Scholarship. Carter will be attending Queen’s University this fall, where he will pursue a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree. His selection as the 2026 CAFA Scholarship recipient reflects not only his academic achievements

The annual Army Cadet Basic Parachute Course graduated from the Canadian Army Advanced Warfare Centre (CAAWC) on 24 July 2026. Six CAFA members from Kingston, Ottawa and Victoriaville were on hand to help celebrate their achievements and present them with various awards, coins and bursaries. The Cadet BPara was conducted simultaneously with a Reg/Res BPara serial. Of note, the Cadet BPara is the only regular force course which Cadets complete and has the exact same standards
