On 27 August in Brighton Ontario, Rick Hatton, President of the Canadian Airborne Forces Association (CAFA) presented the scholarship cheque for $3000 to Todd Burgess.
Todd’s mother Terri-Lyn Burgess and sister Tiana were also on hand to congratulate him. Todd was selected to receive the scholarship as the most deserving applicant in 2024, based on his outstanding academic performance in high school, his impressive personal attributes including demonstrated leadership and his participation in many sports, clubs and other extra-curricular activities.
As an Army Cadet, he completed the Basic Para Course in 2023. Todd has been accepted into the Bachelor of Business Administration programme at Wilfrid Laurier University. For information regarding eligibility and application for the Airborne Forces Scholarship see;
