On 20 August, the CAFA President, Rick Hatton made a $2,000 cheque presentation to the winner of the 2022 ARAC/CAFA Scholarship, Mr William McIlroy, from Kingston Ontario.
William was selected to receive the scholarship as the most deserving applicant in 2022, based on his outstanding academic performance in high school, his impressive personal attributes including demonstrated leadership and his participation in many sports and extra-curricular activities. William has been accepted into the Engineering program at McMaster University. His father Rob, served in 3 Commando.
