CAFA Airborne Soldier of the Year

The 2010 recipient of the CAFA Airborne Soldier of the Year Award, MCpl Chris Griffiths of The Queen's Own Rifles of Canada, receives his award from 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion D-Day veteran Jan de Vries, and former Commander of the Canadian Airborne Regiment, Colonel Dick Cowling. The presentation was made on 24 September at the QOR Change of Command, and MCpl Griffiths is wearing the uniform of a Pioneer from 1860.
